JELADO

Yohei Goto, founder and designer of Jelado, also a kickboxer, began as a vintage clothing dealer in Tokyo when he was 26. He recognized a problem, call it a challenge.

The vintage boom had left the supply of authentic vintage pieces low and this motivated him to start producing his own very special brand Jelado,

with the basic concept of reproducing at the same high quality of vintage Americana, but with the contemporary fit that he demanded for himself.

Fabrics and detailing, craft and workmanship, are all on point with the glory days.

But nothing about Jelado is a copy of old. It’s pure inspiration, guided by the past, always looking to the present.
