SJST-SC01 - T-SHIRT 

A t-shirt fabric made with an uneven #10 yarn spun in the same way as our 17oz “Zero” denim. The weight is 16oz.

Chestnut color: Along with black soybeans, the Sasayama area is also famous for its own brand of chestnuts called “Tamba” chestnuts.

We’ve extracted a dye from the astringent skins of these chestnuts and mixed it up to make a really attractive color, falling somewhere between beige and brown.

Sewn on a vintage Union Special 36200 flat seamer machine from the 60's

• One Washed - the fabric will not shrink anymore

The model is 182cm tall, weighs 70kg and is wearing a size L.

"SAMURAI JEANS COTTON PROJECT - Nogami-San has his own cotton field in Hyogo prefecture and Sasayama, where he grows his natural organic cotton. 

The whole process is 100% made in Japan, from digging up the weeds into the soil, the growing of the cotton, the weaving, the dying and the sewing.
