SJST-SC02 - HENLEY T-SHIRT 

A t-shirt fabric made with an uneven #10 yarn spun in the same way as our 17oz “Zero” denim. The weight is 16oz.

Black bean color: The place where we grow our organic cotton is called Sasayama and it is also home to local black soybean production.

We’ve used the juice of these black beans (which is normally just thrown away) as a natural dye, resulting in a very unique, organic, and eco-friendly color. 

Sewn on a vintage Union Special 36200 flat seamer machine from the 60's

• Produced with Samurai's own cotton

• Henley with half button placket 

• KURI DARK color

• Triple stitched collar - 3 needles binder neck

• One Washed - the fabric will not shrink anymore

• " 100% Made in Japan"

The model is 182cm tall, weighs 70kg and is wearing a size L.

"SAMURAI JEANS COTTON PROJECT - Nogami-San has his own cotton field in Hyogo prefecture and Sasayama, where he grows his natural organic cotton. 

The whole process is 100% made in Japan, from digging up the weeds into the soil, the growing of the cotton, the weaving, the dying and the sewing.
